If your children are learning Chinese, here’s a site you might like to check out with them when they start to get a bit advanced.
Designed as an educational site for children in China, The Beijing Children’s Weekly is presented entirely in Chinese, with vocabulary and topics suited to the “Middle School” set. Stories, interviews, cartoons, but again, all in Chinese.
But if you’re learning Chinese yourself, you can of course pop in for some reading practice as well. It’s OK. We won’t tell anyone.
Visit the site at The Beijing Children’s Weekly, but be forewarned: it incorporates my pet peeve, the approach of opening every page on its own site in a new window.
